This iconic event celebrates the beginning of Summer and draws thousands of people together to enjoy a diverse range of cultural flavours.
This year will see the Multicultural Food Fair move to Langford Oval.

Cops probe container fire

The arson squad is investigating a blaze that destroyed a sea container on a building site in Maddington in the early hours of this morning.
Fire fighters were called to the scene on Dockerty Mews at 3.40am.
A FESA spokeswoman said it appeared the site had been broken into and the fire was deliberately lit.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

CEO resigns
After less than a year in service our latest CEO has resigned (8th July) - Daniel Simms, the job is yet again up for grabs ...
CCT cameras in Gosnells ???
A few weeks ago I noticed this CCT camera which is located on Albany Highway in Gosnells, I only noticed because I saw a tech working on it ... so I am not sure how long it has been there ... actually two cameras, one either side of the pole, and are the type that can be controlled, I observed it moving, one appears to be fixed but one of them was panning around the area, it is located just outside the Agonis building and across the road from the childcare center, I thought at first it might be for MainRoads, but it is not listed on their site, so for what purpose is it intended ...
Bus Shelters - now a hazard!
These shelters are now becoming an increased safety hazard, this shelter was destroyed late last week and the resulting mess is yet to be cleaned up, a birdie told me that the Advertising Company responsible for these is now at a point where they will only fix the shelters up to a certain number of times, and as the vandalism level is so high, they will only replace the glass so many times ...
