A fire tore through a house on Westfield St in Maddington, in Perth’s southeast, about 4.30am on December 10 last year.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze, which destroyed the property, later finding the suspicious fire likely started in the carport area.
CCTV footage revealed a person was near the home about the time of the fire.
Property mogul Allen Caratti-owned Mammoth Contracting has been fined $17,000 after being caught illegally dumping waste on CCTV cameras.
