A GOSNELLS woman will appear in court today after allegedly stabbing her pet german shepherd to death.
The 22-year-old has been charged with maliciously wounding the dog named Cheeky on June 23 last year.
The RSPCA will allege that the woman, who was aged 21 at the time of the offence, stabbed Cheeky five times in the torso, causing the dog to die from suffocation after sustaining a pneumothorax to her lungs.
She is due to appear in Armadale Magistrates Court today.
