The City of Gosnells provides a wide range of sponsorship opportunities for the local community, under it's Community Sponsorship Program.
Aim
To offer incorporated not-for-profit community organisations a range of sponsorship opportunities to foster the provision of high quality programs for people within the City of Gosnells.
Goals
Establish mutually beneficial partnerships between the City and the community to be cooperative leaders in the provision of programs to the community.
To further assist community organisations to maximise their development, in partnership with the City of Gosnells.
To provide an equitable means by which community organisations can access Council funds for their future development.
To provide a strategic approach for developing and improving community facilities within the City of Gosnells.
Community Sponsorship Programme – Grant Categories
Minor Equipment Grants – assist community organisations with the purchase of equipment aimed at enhancing community / participant safety or to address an equity issue.
Minor Capital Works – support community groups to undertake the timely development and upgrading of infrastructure and facilities to accommodate existing and new areas within the City.
Innovative Programme or Project – support community driven initiatives that enhance environmental, social or cultural awareness and development within the City.
Learning and Development Grants – assist community organisations to provide training and development opportunities for volunteers and administrators aimed at enhancing the provision of services to their members and the broader community.
Strategic Initiatives Grants – support organisations to develop and implement initiatives that will contribute towards the achievement of one or more of the City’s Strategic Goals.
Community Support Grants – support individuals with the potential to achieve State or National selection, or to excel in their chosen field of endeavour. Community Support Grants are ongoing and applications are assessed by request in writing.

External Funding
The City also sources funding from Federal, State and corporate funding organisations. This funding assists the City in providing programs and capital works improvements for the benefit of the local community. The City fosters the development of partnerships with various organisations in building and fostering strategic alliances and sponsorships to enhance the strategic objectives and to attract economic stimulation to the region.
