Police have charged a 33 year old Gosnells man over a serious bashing in the eastern suburb of Stratton on Sunday.
Police will allege the man hit his victim on the head after an argument at a house and when he fell to the ground punched and kicked him before jumping on his head twice.
When the victim's 35 year old sister tried to step in she was also allegedly assaulted.
The man was taken to Swan District hospital with face and rib fractures.
The 33 year old will appear in the Midland Magistrates Court tomorrow.
