Mark McGowan and some high-profile WA Labor Shadow Cabinet members will be in Thornlie on Thursday. I would be delighted if you and any of your friends could come along to a meeting at the Don Russell Performing Arts Centre on Thursday 12 July at 11.30am-1 pm.
As well as Leader Mark McGowan, Ken Travers (Transport), Michelle Roberts (Police) and Paul Papalia (Education) will be fielding questions.
Some of the local issues that I expect will come up include:-
· The extension of the Thornlie train line to Nicholson Road· Perceptions of slow Police response in the South-East suburbs and the planned closures of local Police Stations· The introduction of Y7s into high school and the lack of capital investment in some schools
